Storey is currently delivering an ambitious retrofit with Shorea Capital and Native Land at 188 City Road (SIRA) that will transform the existing building into premium office space.
The project retains 75% of the locally listed building’s existing structure, saving over 1,000 tonnes of embodied carbon compared to new construction, and will be achieving best-in-class embodied and operational energy targets, showing how heritage buildings can be successfully adapted for modern use. Demolition of the existing core and roof is now complete, with the new core now rising and three additional floors taking shape on site.
